Gathering Times
Sundays, 8:00 and 10:15 a.m.
St. Paul's currently holds two services each Sunday morning. Join us at 8:00 a.m. for a "said Eucharistic service" (a service without music), or at 10:15 for the Choral Eucharist, where we use music and singing to enhance our worship.
Often, the 10:15 a.m. mass is followed by 'Coffee Hour', where the congregation comes together for fellowship and a spread of hors d'oeuvres. Guests are encouraged to join us, and are always made to feel welcome by our warm and outgoing parishoners.
Thursdays, 9:00 a.m.
There is also a morning service every Thursday at 9:00. This brief mass is accompanied by prayers for healing.
Christian Education
We also offer Christian education classes for all ages.
Our youth class is taught by a small but dedicated group of parents. Children are taught a wide range of Bible stories and how to relate their lessons to contemporary life. The lessons are fun and dynamic, as a diverse range of techniques are used. These include group discussions, skits, videos and arts and crafts.
Meanwhile, the adult class meets to discuss Biblical lessons and current events in an intimate environment. The discussion is always engaging and the coffee pot's always on.
All classes meet at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, and are typically an hour in length.
Location
St. Paul's is located at 298 South Harrison Avenue in Kankakee, Illinois. It is right on the corner of South Harrison and East Station. Look for the church with the red doors.
